Sumatra Mandheling - Single Origin
Grown in the rich volcanic soils on the slopes of Mount Leuser in the Batak region of west-central Sumatra, our Sumatra Mandheling has a bold, rich, earthy darkness that creates an intense and captivating cup of coffee with low acidity and higher caffeine.
Light (Full City) or Dark (French) Roast, whole bean, slow-roasted in North Texas.
Origin: 100% Arabica shade-grown coffee from the Batak region of Sumatra.
Tasting Notes: Strong notes of cedar, sweet tobacco, chocolate and spices with a winey acidity.
Recommended Brewing Methods: French press, drip machine, pour over, espresso and cold brew. Grind just before use. Use fresh, cold, filtered water. Two tbsp for every cup.
